Firstly, the numbers: our total STEEM value is currently about 1407 STEEM, including 237 STEEM within Steem Engine and a total of 15203 tokens in play. This gives ONECENT an ABV of about 9.3 cents, up slightly from yesterday.
Not a long chat this time. Just an announcement that a new game will be starting very soon. It will be much faster than ONECENT yet still have enough time to make a bit of extra income to raise the final price. The distribution also has an interesting property that I shall let players discover, or at least tease out.
One important difference is that I shall be allowing buy-ins into the game for a very limited time at a fixed price. When these kinds of games are played in real life, all participants are ready and waiting - rather like an auction. Online this is not always possible due to lifestyle and timezone differences, so this is a way to enter the game at an early stage at a decent price yet higher than for those who jump in at the starting gun.
When the game starts I shall post on ONECENT too, so followers will know immediately.
A reminder that the MAPR token was launched two days ago! I know some of you also delegate to MAPR. Today's token distribution should be coming soon - as soon as the API works!
Now, to some prizes!
Although ONECENT is not in any way an upvote service, it struck me as a nice addition to the game to give some random upvotes. I shall give one 10% vote per day to a random account that appears on the first page of the transactions list on the Steem Engine Block Explorer.
That random player will also be added to our automatic-voter. The upvotes won't be so high as to make them significant compared to the ONECENT token price.
