The ONECENT price has hardly moved and remains at 8.9 cents. We have also come to the end of the ONECENT token give-away to MAPX token-holders so the price will no longer be diluted.
There has, however, been some recent activity in the game. If you look at the ONECENT market page and scroll down to the Trade History, you will see recent transactions. Sadly, Steem Engine does not show all historical data, but the Steem Engine Block Explorer does!
If you look at ONECENT on this block explorer you will see a much longer list of all transactions. It is important to differentiate between orders placed in the market and orders that have actually been executed.
If you look back at the prices page, you will see Buy Orders going all the way down to the original 1 cent - and even lower. Those orders have obviously not been executed, whereas recent sales around the 11 to 13 cents range were real transactions between two accounts.
You can tell the difference in the Block Explorer because actual transactions will list two usernames - the buyer and the seller - whereas orders to market will show just the one username.
I hope this helps you build a better picture of who is doing what; the why is hidden in their mind!

A brief message to those of you who are delegators to MAP Rewarder: please read this recent announcement: Important Changes to MAP Rewarder - New Payouts in MAPR Token Explained - 21 July 2019. You don't actually need to do anything, but be aware that next Monday's payouts will be done in the new MAPR token. The weekly powering down of SP will continue so that those delegators who wish to sell their tokens and convert them to STEEM may do so.
For those of you who do not delegate to MAP Rewarder, the token launch means that you may now either delegate SP or invest directly in the token. This may be useful to those with modest amounts of STEEM who have seen the program slowly increase its minimum delegation amounts in order to keep it mathematically and financially sound. A proper token launch post is scheduled for later this week, but the market is already open for early trading.
