Please visit her and give her post some love. She does this for the love of writing and puts a lot of time into it.
Day 5,923: Okay, it's actually just day 52, but it seems like forever. There's nothing to do, there's just ice as far as the eye can see, and I think I'm going ice blind. Lisa says I'm not, because I can see her just fine, and that I need to quit complaining and get back to work before they send me home.
Day 55: I'm just bored and the food is awful. Other than finding a frozen person there has been no fun at all. Lots of boring and mundane old weapons and artillery, like bullets. Blah. I can't believe I volunteered for this.
Day 57: Well, Lisa was right. All I had to do was quit working and they threatened to send me home. I was going to grab a gun to take home as a trophy, but then I realised that if I left I wouldn't get to see Lisa again.
Day 58: I've gone back to work. Yes, I'm a volunteer, and yes, it's cold, but I bet Lisa is really, really warm. I aim to find out!
