This will be the first time I'm doing a series. The characters here were previously featured on last week's weekend freewrite. You can read it here: Another One Bites the Dust (Weekend Freewrite -- 10/5/2019)

Prompt First Sentence: "I am not available anymore." He was fuming when he heard this.

Xavier always thought that there was a third party involved, but hearing this from Madison just a month after their "partnership" ended, seemed to have confirmed his previous suspicions.
A static crackle from his earpiece brought him out of his thoughts, "I hope your head's still in the game, Aries, can't have that pretty face of yours blown off its shoulders." his superior, Officer Vivian Ramirez, dryly drawled as she addressed him by his code name.
In front of him, Madison or Virgo as she was called during missions, was slightly crouched and checking if the coast was clear. "Copy that boss." he quietly muttered back in reply, though he could barely keep his eyes off Madison's pert bum, which was further enhanced by the black fitted bodysuit she had on.
Upon hearing his voice, Virgo looked back at him and silently motioned that they would go left. Before they reached the end of the hall, another static came through on both their earpieces and a male voice spoke, "Five incoming at your 12 o'clock. Fifth one's our informant, keep an eye out on him, and make sure to leave him unscathed."
Turns out Kennedy Sims only looked like your average surfer dude, but he had the brains and bank account that could put Tony Stark to shame. Though Xavier still wondered what Kennedy wanted out of this case.
Hiding themselves behind alcoves across from each other, they waited for the upcoming party to arrive as they prepared their guns. Just as Xavier clicked his gun into place, he accidentally stepped on something that caused the wall that he was leaning on to slide open, revealing a hidden passage.
It was a good thing he caught himself in time, or he would have slid down the slope that the passage revealed. He crouched down and was just about to report back to Officer Ramirez of his find when he heard a disturbing sound from down the hall.
Prompt 2
Harry laughed, face fleshy, sallow as an onion, eyes googly, the sound of it like clucking.

Eyebrows raised in confusion, Xavier looked across from him to confirm with Madison if this was the informant that Kennedy asked them to watch out for, but found that she was already poised to attack.
Before he could stop her, his senses registered an odd scent...

No, it seemed to stand out in this dank and dark place. Xavier's eyes widened as he suddenly remembered what that smell was. Gas!
Thinking fast, he reached out towards Madison and hauled her towards the passage, just as a shot rang out. It didn't come from her, he was sure, they had silencers for that.
But the shot ignited the whole hallway aflame and threatened to seep through the passageway they slid down from, had the wall not slid back into place.
There he had Madison back in his arms, and into the rabbit hole they went.
