«Dolphins and orcas» (33 pics)

Loro Park is not only one of the largest zoos, but also the most visited attraction of Tenerife. To come to the island and not finding out about Loro Park is almost impossible. Created by German entrepreneur Wolfgang Kiessling in 1972, Loro Park is a zoo, botanical garden, and entertainment complex with numerous shows. For almost fifty years of its existence, the park’s popularity has grown incredibly, and now it is visited by about two million people annually.

I have already talked about this park in one of the old posts. In our second trip to the island, we again visited Loro Park and this time especially to see the show of orcas and dolphins. I would like to share the pictures that I managed to do during these shows.

Let's remember what dolphins and orcas really look like. :)

The orca show leaves a strong impression. The huge orca easily makes spectacular somersaults.

The first rows and the area around the pool is called the splash-zone. Viewers who have risked sitting there are given a blue raincoats.

The pavilion of the dolphin show is smaller in size and therefore always full of people.

Dolphin show is very beautiful and much more diverse than the show of orcas, though not so impressive. Dolphins perform such incredible jumps and tricks that everyone, both adults and children, are delighted. Dolphins are really very smart.
