(D) Wer von Lissabon aus andere Teile Portugals mit dem Zug erkunden will, wird so vom Architekten Santiago Calatrava empfangen. Denn er hat den Bahnhof "Estação do Oriente" entworfen. Auch wenn der Stararchitekt oft wegen Überteuerung und Bauverzögerungen in der Kritik steht, faszinieren mich seine Skelett änlichen Konstruktionen.
Aufgenommen habe ich dieses Bild auf einem fotografischen Streifzug durch den Park der Nationen (ehemaliges Expo-Gelände), wobei der Bahnhof mir jeweils als Start-/und Endpunkt diente.
(ENG) Those who want to explore other parts of Portugal by train from Lisbon are thus welcomed by the architect Santiago Calatrava. For he designed the "Estação do Oriente" station. Even though the star architect is often criticised for overpricing and construction delays, his skeleton-like constructions fascinate me.
I took this picture on a photographic tour of the Park of Nations (former Expo site), using the station as my starting and ending point.
(ESP) El arquitecto Santiago Calatrava da la bienvenida a quienes desean explorar otras partes de Portugal en tren desde Lisboa. Él diseñó la estación de Oriente. Aunque a menudo se critica a este arquitecto estrella por sus sobreprecios y retrasos en las obras, sus construcciones esqueléticas me fascinan.
Tomé esta foto en un recorrido fotográfico por el Parque de las Naciones (antiguo recinto de la Expo), utilizando la estación como punto de partida y de llegada.
