This is my submission for the Pay it forward Curation contest run by @thedarkhorse and @pifc.
This week it is the turn of the #neoxian tag to see a feature... and as it turns out, I had just found a post very recently that had the right tag! Actually, #neoxian seems to be a pretty common and non-subject specific tag... so it wasn't too hard this time!
Cello
Well... despite being a violinist... I am a bit of a sucker for the mellow cello sound. Actually, so much so that I often pinch their music and play it on the viola (which is an octave higher... but it is the best that I can do seeing as learning the cello is out of my reach!).
One of the best set of works for cello is the set of suites for unaccompanied cello by JS Bach. In this featured post, @hienco (REP 53) gives us a great rendition of the Sarabande from the first Suite. Normally, us Early Music people prefer this sort of dance to be a touch faster... but I still appreciate good playing when I hear it! Enjoy!
Neoxian feature
Wow... @carolkean (REP 63) has a pretty cool son! He plays jazz bass... is there anything more laid back and cool than that? NOPE!
Anyway, you can catch him out and about in the parks of New York... performing on a very nice looking day in this featured post. It appears that we have one very proud mother!
PS: use a password manager... at least for the non critical keys (posting/wallet).
My past entries
I'm going to keep a record of my past entries mostly for my own ease of finding them again!
