Indian Style Sterling Silver Septum Rings & Earrings

Happy Friday!

I wanted to show you some Silver soldering work I finished a little while ago. I've always favoured making necklace type jewellery and sometimes I forget not everyone wears pendants so making these was a refreshing change.

Indian style jewellery was very popular last year on the festival circuit from what my trader friends told me. I've always liked the look of the chunky indian earrings so I thought i'd get the torch out and make some myself.
My soldering skills aren't the best ever but after a clean and polish i think these all came out looking nice.

These next few I created as Septum rings however a couple of them have sold to people wanting them as single earrings which is fine by me, they still look good!

I need to remember to practice styles and techniques outside of my comfort zone more often, it's very easy to slip into a routine and create things in the same way over and over. From a business point of view this kind of makes sense but I feel like my practice grows so much more when im challenging myself.
Anyway, I've sold a few pairs since making these and wear one myself sometimes so I think this was a successful project. :)
