A few of you may have seen my post a couple of weeks ago regarding physical Bitcoins made of copper. (Here if you want to read it - @robali123/cryptocoin-jewellery-plans-and-a-recently-finished-pendant)
I've been quite busy with other things since they arrived but I have managed to start on one design. Heres a shot of where i'm at with it.
It's at quite a messy stage. With bigger pieces like this, I find binding some of the sections together temporarily whilst I get the supporting wires in place really helps as I am able to focus on the aesthetics and not just keeping it from falling apart!
As mentioned in a previous post, the coins are pretty big. I thought about continuing with the jewellery plan but I think it would just limit what i can do with the designs so these coin based pieces will be pieces of art, for the wall or perhaps tabletop sculptures. I'll have to see where the creativity takes me.
I welcome advice or criticism on this project, if you have any ideas leave a comment below. I'll very likely be auctioning these off through Steemit or possibly doing a raffle or even just giving some away!
