Last day of February already. I'm curious to see what has happened in your (indoor) garden/on your balcony! Let us take a peek and maybe you'll win one of the prizes

February
It's the last day of February - time flies when you're having fun - so it is time for what I consider to be one of the most existing events on my blog: the Garden Journal Challenge.
Let me start by apologizing for publishing a pretty generic post today. I'm so incredibly tired and I will be going to sleep right after I have edited this post. I've been up for more than 24 hours because I spent all night playing Steemmonsters tournaments. As long as the adrenaline was rushing I didn't feel tired at all, but now there is a break, I can hardly stay awake.
Still, I don't want to break the habit of hosting this monthly challenge - I've been enjoying it too much to give up. And since tomorrow will be March already, I thought I should (wo)man up and get the February edition out while I still can.
After all, February is an interesting months for every gardener on the entire globe. While I'm super-exited that spring is just around the corner and I can get back to my stress-free zone very soon, people who live in the Southern hemisphere are starting to prepare for fall and winter.
This is one out of two times in a year that every single gardener, all around the world, is equally active. I definitely don't want to miss out on that. And I hope this will become a very interesting edition when all of you share what's going on in your garden at the moment.

Edition Number 10 - February
So here it is: edition number 10.
When I started this challenge back in April last year, I could never have imagined that I would still be doing this 10 months later. And I owe you all for that. Without your entries, this project would have ceased to exist a long time ago.
As you probably know by now, watching crops, flowers or plants grow is something that always puts a smile on my face.
Thanks to your contributions, I have been able to smile all winter long, even though I haven't been doing any gardening myself.
I really appreciate it that so many people are taking the time to show me that green is still a color, when my own garden is all brown and muddy.
But I'm drifting off... Let's get on with it...
In case this is your first encounter with the SteemIt Community Garden Challenge, let me assure you that houseplants, indoor gardens, balcony or container gardens, updates from your farm or homestead all make me equally happy and are more than welcome here.
In this challenge, it doesn't matter if you have an entire farm or only a small balcony - as long as you're growing something (crops and plants, not kids, lol), you are more than welcome to share your monthly update. The more the merrier, right?!

The Regular Shoutout To Our Previous Contributors.
Because SteemIt brings together people from all around the world, we've had different gardeners joining this challenge in every edition. The participants' base follows the seasons in the different parts of the world. Last edition, we could enjoy the garden updates of
@cloudblade, @nat-expressions, @porters, @abitcoinskeptic, @pastoragus, @allyson19, @alphaccino.art, @phyowinkoko and @fotostef.
Now the seasons are changing, the number of entries and the active participants will change again, and there will be plenty of new garden journal updates to discover.
This challenge is open for everyone who is growing plants or crops - indoors or outdoors.
If you havenโt joined before, feel free to start now. The more the merrier! There are plenty of people who are enjoying to see what's going on in other people's garden, farm or balcony.

The Challenge
The assignment is still the same one as during the first edition. The only thing that has changed is the tag you should be using. Since last month, we've been using the tag #gardenjournal2019 instead of #gardenjournal2018, for reasons I won't need to explain, I guess.
Below, you'll find the challenge's guidelines:

Please also include a link back to this challenge somewhere in your post.
That's it.
๐ผ ๐ผ No Resteem - No Follow - No Upvote Required ๐ผ ๐ผ
You can include whatever you want in your post, but please remember that the pictures should be the most important aspect of your post.

Show us how your plants, herbs, flowers, succulents or vegetables are doing. Share what youโve been doing in your garden, on your farm or on your balcony. Don't forget to let us know if you are dealing with things like fungus, caterpillars, aphids, and - even more important - hรณw youโre dealing with those.
In short, tell us the story of your garden.

๐ The Rewards
Your entry will be rewarded as during all previous editions: all entry posts will receive a 100% upvote from my personal account. Since the price of Steem has gone up since last month, that upvote will be worth a little bit more again.
As an extra reward, I'll be setting up a @steem-bounty in the comments section. Everyone who posts a comment that includes a link to a valid entry will get a share of that bounty.

๐ The Winners
We're printing SBD again. If this trend continues, I'll be paying out the prizes in SBD instead of Steem this time.
Iโll reward the top 2 posts with a 3SBD prize.
Iโll also reward 2 randomly chosen resteemers with an @incinboost or @steembasicincome share, depending on what the winners prefer.
Prizes will be sent out once I get the winners post up, which will be after this post has reached payout. Make sure you submit your entry before that time.

Grab That Camera
Are you still reading? What are you waiting for? Grab that camera and go make some awesome pics of your (indoor) garden, your balcony or wherever you are growing your plants, herbs or crops.
Grab this chance to show off your green thumb (or the lack of it) to the SteemIt community.

I'll can't wait to see your updates!
