For the first full issue of Seer I wanted something that would stand out a bit from the standard fare, and opted for a very stark and graphical design of this bloodied mouthguard on the canvas. @prolificpixels helped bring it to life. I think we'd both agree that we're doing better work now, as this was quite a few years ago, but it's fun to reminisce and get Seer back out in the world.
Seer was a rare instance in which I collaborated at certain times with several other artists, and always enjoyed the process. As I have far more ideas than I can tackle all alone, I've been toying with the idea of returning to Seer as writer, editor, and publisher, but hiring an artistic team.
@drwatson definitely has been instrumental in getting those ideas brewing, as I've been enthusiastically watching the updates on his comic project, Ithaqa. If you've liked Seer at all, check it out, you won't be disappointed.
"Stay tuned" as we jump into the actual story pages of Round One shortly.
