History of the Fiat-Abarth 750 GT
The Fiat-Abarth 750 GT was presented in 1955 during the Turin Auto Show. Carlo Abarth, automobile designer, developped a 750 cc version of the Fiat 600 seiling derivation (upgrade kit). Abarth built also road and competition cars in his factory with lightweight coachwork by Zagato (Milan).
The Fiat-Abarth 750 Zagato started competition in 1956 with some successes during European events, especially during the 1957 Mille Miglia (victory in the class Grand Touring 750).


Specification
With its 747 cc inline four-cylinder engine with two-barrel Weber carburettor and four-speed manual transmission, the Fiat-Abarth 750 Zagato produces 41.5 hp for a top speed of 129 kmh.
