In May, during its Villa Erba Sale, RM Sotheby's is going to auction this elegant 1955 Fiat 8V Coupé Zagato, one of only 26 coupés built.

History of the Fiat 8V
The Fiat 8V or Otto Vu was presented during the 1952 Geneva Motor Show and produced until 1954. With its lightweight and aerodynamic coachwork by Zagato and its Fiat 8V engine developed by the engineer Dante Giacosa, the Otto Vu had some successes at racing events but wasn't a commercial success (114 examples sold in 2 years).
At the 1954 Turin Salon, in order to benefit of the fame gained on the racetracks, Zagato introduced a new version of the coupé, only 26 examples were built during the next year. Each coupé was hand built, so the customer can choose many features and the colors, each example is unique...


Specification
The Fiat 8V has 2.0 Litre tipo 104 V8 engine with 4 speed manual transmission, producing 104 hp at 5,600 rpm for a top speed of 190 kmh.
This model was painted in its original emerald green over a two-tone interior. Very nice car...
