Hola queridos amigos de Hive! He tenido unos días un poco desordenados, y debo decir que volver a escribir, en este caso para participar en el #retotop5, me ha ayudado a aligerarme, y más cuando se trata de hablar de una pequeña porción de mis sueños: conocer más allá de lo que tengo enfrente.

A pesar de no conocerla, esta isla forma parte de mí. Tal como mi hermana @melisarm mencionó en su lista, nuestro papá, tras muchas dificultades, logró perseguir sus sueños y dejar allá a su familia y amigos en Cuba para vivir otra vida. Sin embargo, en ella se mantienen las historias de su infancia y juventud que hace mucho nos contó. Todavía en ella está su familia, y las calles que recorrió. Quiero conocerla porque así conoceré una nueva (para mí) parte de él.

Trasladándonos al opuesto del clima tropical del caribe, en mi lista también se encuentra el país que inconscientemente, ilustraba todas las historias de cuentos de hadas de mi infancia. Además de poseer una cultura muy rica y ciudades muy vistosas, sus paisajes naturales y pequeñas villas se han mantenido en mi lista de destinos desde que encontré las similitudes entre sus picos y montañas y aquellos que mi imaginación construía.

Constantemente me dejo sorprender por la naturaleza, la que me rodea y que puedo ver desde mi ventana, mis pequeñas plantas y la montaña que se abre paso entre cielos azules. De ella venimos y por ella somos todo lo que somos, es por ello que es lo que más me motiva a visitar algún destino. Es por ello que los destinos paradisiacos, selváticos y tropicales llaman muchísimo mi atención, y mucho más si ellos guardan siglos de tradiciones espirituales. Es por ello que Bután al sur de Asia capturó mi atención desde el momento en el que lo vi reflejado en algún documental: al pie del Himalaya, este país budista ha convivido con la naturaleza bajo sus pies de la manera más profunda y respetuosa, siendo incluso denominado como el país más feliz del mundo, mientras que también es conocido como el que no contamina.

Poco a poco me he adentrado en diversas culturas asiáticas (una de las cosas positivas en esta cuarentena), y este proceso me ha demostrado que, quizás por pereza o falta de información en mi cotidianidad, toda mi vida he ignorado películas, libros, y un sinfín de productos culturales que poseen una gran riqueza; entre estas, la japonesa. Es por ello que este país forma parte de mi lista, con sus hermosas filosofías de vida, formas de ver el mundo, y paisajes que me han conmovido.

Como estudiante de historia del arte, este país se encuentra en mi lista por ser la cuna de infinidad de movimientos artísticos, poéticos y musicales que han resonado en mí hasta el día de hoy; y por continuar conservando los rastros culturales de todo aquello que me motivó a estudiar mi carrera. Más que el país del amor, es el país del arte.
