# DERANGED is Officially Launched ![pageBreak.png](https://img.whaleshares.io/wls-img/derangedvisions/6be999e5186e6b2fb4ea41fd6aac09da4bdade6f.png) A few days ago, I [Introduced Deranged Coin](https://steempeak.com/derangedcoin/@derangedvisions/introducing-deranged-coin) from my main @derangedvisions account. Prior to the announcement post, everything was working smoothly, but once the announcement post went up, the bot decided to poop out for a bit, but after a fresh install and some tweaking, everything was fixed. DERANGED has been up and running smoothly for the past few days now without any issues, so I thought it was time to make the "official post" from the @deranged.coin account so that people being gifted DERANGED on their posts had some idea of what they were getting. In short, DERANGED is a gifting token, much like some of the other ones that are out there, but that is just the surface of it. I am staking the have staked the account with some various tribe tokens and with the initial sell of DERANGED through Steem Engine, the Steem raised will be put back into buying more tokens to increase the reward that the sender receives for using DERANGED. At the time of inception, the @deranged.coin account had these stats: Steem Power - 500 CCC - 5000 PHOTO - 5000 NEOXAG - 4000 I put a limited amount of DERANGED on the Steem Engine market and as they have sold, I have purchased Creative Coin (CCC) to increase the power of the vote. I have also delegated more PHOTO and SP to the account. As of today, the stats of the @deranged.coin account are: **Steem Power - 1000 CCC - 13,877 PHOTO - 10,000 NEOXAG - 4000** ## How does Deranged Coin work? ![pageBreak.png](https://img.whaleshares.io/wls-img/derangedvisions/6be999e5186e6b2fb4ea41fd6aac09da4bdade6f.png) It is pretty simple. You find a post or a comment that you find awesome and you comment `!DERANGED` in your comment and the bot will send one DERANGED to that person's Steem Engine wallet. You will also receive a 5% upvote to your comment for holding DERANGED and sharing with others. You do need 5 DERANGED in your Steem Engine wallet to be able to send 1 DERANGED a day. So if you have 20 DERANGED in your wallet, you can use the command four separate times a day and send 4 DERANGED people. If you do not have enough DERANGED to send any more for the day you will get a comment like this: `You need more DERANGED (5 DERANGED is needed to send 1 DERANGED a day)` If you don't have 5 DERANGED in your wallet and you use the command you will get a message like this: `You don't have enough DERANGED to send any, you need at least 5 DERANGED in your Steem Engine wallet.`
## Abuse ![pageBreak.png](https://img.whaleshares.io/wls-img/derangedvisions/6be999e5186e6b2fb4ea41fd6aac09da4bdade6f.png) With any of these types of services, there is a chance of abuse. I will be monitoring the activity of the account and if there is abusive behavior, I reserve the right to remove the votes being cast from my account. If it comes down to it, I will `MUTE` the abusers and that will cause the bot to ignore all actions from the abusers, so they will not be able to send or receive any of the tokens, nor receive any votes. ## Why did I create this token? ![pageBreak.png](https://img.whaleshares.io/wls-img/derangedvisions/6be999e5186e6b2fb4ea41fd6aac09da4bdade6f.png) My whole idea behind DERANGED was to have a fun way to support the community and encourage engagement between people. Everyone likes to receive comments and gifts for their work, along with votes, so I figured that DERANGED would encompass all of that in one. I have no plans on making this token a "get rich quick" scheme for myself. I have put a limited amount of DERANGED on the market and created the token with a pretty small total cap for this type of token (100K). Once the DERANGED I have placed on the market sell out, I will not put anymore on the market from this account, since this account is the distribution account. The small amount that was placed on the market should be enough to get out in the hands of the community to be able to start spreading the token around to a lot of people. Right now at the beginning the vote you receive for sending DERANGED is 10%, but as the amount of DERANGED that is out in the community grows and use goes up, the vote is going to be reduced to the 5% as stated above. So early users will get more of a bonus for spreading DERANGED around.
