Yesterday's Deed

I learned through difficult experiences
And defied hints of sinister
For I am stubborn.


I lost a lost, willingly let go of some
And kept a few
For I am perversely persistent despite reasons


I mislaid an unconditional love
And shifted to a curious route
For I was unwilling to believe such could be true..
