[travel] 빠이의 walking street in Pai (kr/en)

안녕하십니까 스티미언님들!!
Hello, all steemians!!

몇일 전 와이프 친정집에 다녀오면서 가는길 오는길에 대한 포스팅만 하고 빠이에 대해서는 포스팅을 안했습니다.
수요일 저녁 도착해서 돌아다니고 와이프 부모님과 식사하고 하고 목요일 오전 저 먼저 오느라 시간이 없었네요.
그래서!! 이제 빠이를 좀 소개해 보고자 합니다. :)
I could not posting about Pai, but only for the way going and coming back because I spent time with wife’s parents and look around Pai. So, now I am introduing Pai. :)

Walking street.. 차없는 거리라고 해야 하나요? 걷는 거리라고 해야 하나요?
암튼 사진 위를 보시면 써있죠, 오후 5시부터 길을 막고 차는 못다닙니다.
근데 비수기때는 막지는 않고요, 10~11월 경부터 3~4월 경 성수기때는 매일 막아 놓습니다.
If you see the picture above, there is the sign for “Walking street”.
In low season, they don’t block the road, but they do in high season(October to April)

왼쪽의 거리가 오른쪽의 거리처럼 되는 거죠 매일 밤.
Left street change into Right street every night.

위 사진처럼 다음날 시티투어를 위한 투어 프로그램도 많이 있고요.
As you can see the picture above, there are a lot of city tour programs for nextday.

빠이 도착 포스팅! 에서 보신바와 같이 빠이 오는길 커브가 많은게 특징인데 그걸 마케팅으로 활용하네요. :)
As mentioned in previous posting “arrived at Pai”!, there are a lot of curves on the way to Pai. They are using this fact as marketing. :)

태국에 계시는분들, 여행 와보셨던 분들은 아시겠지만, 코끼리는 태국을 상징하는 동물이며 때로는 신격화하여 숭배하기도 합니다. 그런 이유로 태국 어딜가나 코끼리 제품이 많네요.
You might know if you are in Thailand, or have been in Thailand. Elephant is the symbolic animal. Some Thai people treat it as a God or angel that can protect and bring wealth to them. So, there are a lot of products with elephant anywhere in Thailand.

태국!! 하면 길거리 음식이죠? 아마 길거리 음식 가지수로는 한국보다 많을 것 같네요. 다만... 날이 덥다보니 저는 개인적으로 길거리 음식은 자제 한다는...ㅋㅋ
Thai street food is the most famous in the world!! Right? As you guys know, Korean street food is quite famous too. But I guess there are more kind of street food in Thailand. However.... I am trying not to have some because it is too hot for street food...

한복!!!! 한복이 왜 태국에?? 큰 도시에서 한국관련 매장이나 식당 같은 곳도 아니고 시골동네에 한복이 왜 있는거죠??? 완전 신기방기... 팔리니까 있는 걸텐데... 한류의 힘이 진짜 대단하다는 걸 새삼 느낍니다. ㅋㅋ
Hanbok!!!!! Korean Traditional clothes!!!! Why is it here??? Not in the store or restaurant related to Korean in the big city, but in this rural, countryside??? It is here because there is someone buying... It makes me proud, and it lets me know Korea is very popular in Thailand... (we call this Hallyu which is The Korean Wave)

It was introducing Pai up to here. :) I think it was not about Pai, but walking street “in Pai”... lol
