There is a very famous bridge in Paris called Pont Des Art.

Over the years it has become a focal point for a interesting phenomenon. Lovers would leave their locks on the bridge in a symbolic romantic gesture.

This spontaneous accidental love art became an offline viral sensation to the point where it actually caused structural damage to the bridge.
In this case Love Hurts... the bridge itself!
By 2015 over a million locks were placed, weighing approximately 45 tons.
The locks had to be removed as a saftey issue.
The problem for the people that left these locks meant to be an eternal symbol, is that no one used one of these:
Any traditional padlock on the bridge would have reacted to oxygen and eventually rusted or broken even if it took many decades.
Anything that is....
