The village of Kuznetsovo is located near Aristovo in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region on the banks of the Northern Dvina River. Near the village is the geological outcrop of Aristovo, a natural monument.
Once I was here in springtime, but in another part of the village. This time I decided to go along the very edge, which is located on the steep bank of the river.
The village itself is half residential, the rest of the houses are preserved for the winter period.
Roads cleaned only to residential buildings.
There is so much snow that the depth sometimes reaches to the waist.
Abandoned baths on the slope of the ravine.
The ravine is nothing but a rift in geological outcrops. The edge goes straight to the river bank.
Kuznetsovo is located on a very ancient place. But who cares about this, when living here is not always very comfortable?
Houses closer to the river bank are empty, although in summer there is a road to them and the view from the window is excellent.
A homemade road sign "brick" looks out from under the snow. Probably in the summer there are many who want to drive through someone's territory.
I would not give up the house with such a beautiful view in this place! Just to get across the river is inconvenient: in the summer you have to pay money for the ferry.
The number of heavy snowfalls can be determined by layers on a snow-covered roof. And there were a lot of them during this winter!
Well, that's all, the edge of the coast! Further you already saw! Here begins the geological outcrop of Aristovo.
