This is really an interesting experience to travel in a public transport after almost 10 years. My last travel was during my college days. By then I used to travel a lot to so many places. After that my journey stopped. When I stay it stopped, I mean that I stopped using public transport for travelling. I found it very comfortable to travel in either bike or car even if it is a long distance. I guess I have travelled few times in train as well. But I have avoided bus travel to the maximum.
Why I hated bus journey?
From my childhood I have always hated bus journey. It is not something that amuses me. At the same time I enjoy my travel in train comparatively. Maybe the reason is because it is nasty and very noisy. I don't know but it has always been a phycological feeling to hate busy journey. The bus in which I'm traveling now is really horrible. The seat seat in the bus is very bad and anyone can easily get a back pain.
Poor maintenance of the bus is another reason why I hate bus journey. Maybe all these buses were designed before 20 years and our government is still running the same bus. Anyone who is traveling in these buses will get the same feeling. It even makes me think that there is no wonder that India is still a developing nation. We cannot say that India is a poor country but the problem here is that the money that is being accumulated as tax is looted by politicians some how or the other.
One way car dropping
I'm actually travelling along with my cousin. We almost waited around 2 hours to catch a bus. But that too the bus will not reach the exact place where we are planning to reach. From the destination where this bus drops us, we have to travel another 15 kms. So, while we were waiting for the bus, my cousin mentioned about a facility where we can share car journey with others.
He is actually a regular traveller and he knows about all these things. If someone is travelling towards our destination, we can buddy with them for a nominal price. But the only problem here was that we should have planned it few hours earlier. We couldn't find any relevant car that was traveling to our destination. But it was interesting to know about this information. Maybe we can make use of it later.
