Road TF-134 leading to the west coast of Tenerife to the villages of Taganana and Benijo is one of the most impressive mountain serpentines of the island. The road starts from one of the peaks of the Anaga mountain range and passes through a very beautiful mountainous area, cut by deep gorges and covered with evergreen forests.
I would like to share some pictures of the road to Taganana.
The Anaga mountain range is a unique nature reserve that has preserved its exceptional value.
These are magnificent mountain landscapes, relict laurel forest and numerous hiking trails.
Sometimes the road passes through laurel groves creating in such places an almost fabulous atmosphere.
From the woods, the road leads to one of the viewing platforms, which offers views of the Atlantic Ocean.
To the coast is a little more than two kilometers.
The island of Tenerife, Spain.
