Hi Everyone
There are so many yummy foods to try when you are in a new city or country and here in Slovaski we found a super cute shop selling many desserts. It is located in a small town called Kremnica and the group of us decided to check out what the fuss was about from some of the blogs we've seen online. The shop is attached to a mini cake and coffee store but we decided to eat outside as it was a nice sunny day and the kids prefer to be outdoors.
The moment we stepped inside, there were many sweets and biscuits all nicely packed to purchase as gifts or eat on the go. Various cakes already packaged and other sweet options.
Apart form that, they have cakes and their traditional round wafers for sale. These wafers were soooo good that I had to buy more afterwards. They are thin wafers desserts with different fillings ranging from chocolate, honey, coconut, peanut butter and the list goes on. They are great for gifts but we decided not to bring any home as they will definitely get crushed in the process. Each pack worked out to be around $1.50 AUD which was a bargain in my books as we don't get them here in Sydney and if we do, it won't be that cheap.
The other thing we bought apart from all the biscuits and wafers, we also got a cake from their mini bakery. It was freshly made on the day and the cream was just right, not too sweet. My husband was looking on saying I have to be careful of dropping the cake because I was trying to get the best lighting and angle haha.
