81 Street Museum of Natural History subway station mosaics
This is a post, is for Beautiful Sunday hosted by @ace108, and Sublime Sunday, created and hosted by @c0ff33a, I try each week to think of something that may fit both of these challenges and when I visited the Museum of Natural History earlier this week, I went there on the Subway and came across some cool mosaics in the station by the tracks I got off at that I thought would fit these challenges.
Starting with this one, I guess the big kid in me shows out that the main thing I wanted to see when I got to the museum was the dinosaur exhibits

A little bit about this station it opened on September 10, 1932, as part of the opening of the first city-owned subway line, the IND Eighth Avenue Line, as part of the 1998–2000 station renovation these Mosaics were added.
Even though the Dinosaur were the top of my list to see all the exhibits in the Museum were good to see, the Bird ones were up there for me as well so the second mosaic I share is of this eagle.

Even the station signs and direction on best exit to get to the museum are shown with mosaics

I did like this colorful lizard.
I do love mosaic art, it has always been a style I really enjoy
