After my last Wednesday walk, where I went to a nearby zoo for the morning walk. When I am unable to see any animals, I decided to visit them once again, especially to see the wild. So today, being Sunday and nothing much to do, I made a visit to the Zoo, which have many wild animals and birds and reptiles in different enclosure behind the cage.
There were many animals but the most I like is the birds zone which have many different species, and the colourful signboard is what most attracted me.
It was for the parrots, but I could not take any picture of them due to very thin cage and they were quite a distant from the public viewing area. So I moved forward to find a new species which I seen first time.
Quite big in size enough to gaze at us. They have the heights of approx 3 feet from the ground. Thanks to the sign board I able to know the name. Being the first time I saw this birds I snapped the name plate.
Cassowary the name is unique too. It has the colourful neck that I never seen before the body is black and is looking quite attractive. With strong beak and a horn like thing on head.
The main thing these birds were adopted by someone, as it was shown on the name plate. I am very impressed with this bird more so these were not easily visible in India. As we moved ahead, our national bird came along near to its cage allowing me to take a picture.
As we moved more towards looking out for more extinct bird which were preserved in these cages. I came along a pair of Black Swan Equsitelly, sitting at one corner making the place very picturesheque.
There were many different species of birds available in those small cages, after passing out from the birds section, I moved ahead to see other animals in the zoo. The zoo is big enough to accomodate all kids of animals. The first one that came across in the animal section is the Big Hippo
The area is very dump and they were love playing in the area where human hardly like to stand. But that is why they were wild, who loves all their natural way of living. There were 3 of them all quitely enjoying the sun in the damp area.
Tye next enclosure to them were of zebra, where I believe the male is chasing the female and they manage to reach to one corner of their enclosure.
Well I missed to mention I never seen any ostrich so near, than having a face to face with one today. It was good one o one where we manage to know a bit of each other.
Knowing about each animal and looking at some new species I kept walking more along the zoo. My curiosity to know about them keep increasing te more I saw them in real. This is my first visit to zoo after long years and I could not want to miss the oppurtunity to enjoy.
My Sunday getting beautiful with each passage and I kept looking at different nature's creativity.
After spending some good time and once my leg started to gave up, I thought to call it a day. It was a good tour of 4 hrs where i get to see many creatures , some of them were extincting and some very beautiful.
Many were resting in far of places of their cage and thereby unable to capture them but still able to saw them. Maximum craze was in Tigeress called "Bhawani" cage but she was hidden somewhere inside.
It was good place with lots of greenary all around. A good place for people to do their morning walk and later in the day to visit and explore the unknown territory of different animals. This is my way of making Sunday meaningful. Also my contribution to #sublimesunday by @c0ff33a and #beautifulsunday by @ace108.
I am very much impressed by "Cosswary". All because I saw them first time.
