Searching For Platinum In Trader Joe’s with Goldmatters

It’s been a while since I searched for gold in Trader Joe’s. You can read about the last search here:

This time, since platinum has been on my mind a LOT lately, and is at a 10 year low (read more about that here: @goldmatters/platinum-trading-at-10-year-lows-buy-some-for-under-usd100-at-mene )

I brought along my Mene 24 karat Platinum ring to ensure I found PT everywhere.

I confidently approached TJ’S, ring in hand:

This Narrow Band Ring is over nine and a quarter grams of pure platinum:

It looks really good in front of salads:

Exotic cheese:

But the desserts are so good that we lose all focus:

I remembered what I was here for and found these coins:

The atomic number for gold said I was getting closer:

And then:

GOLD

MORE GOLD:

I was thrilled until I realized I was supposed to be looking for platinum!

I kept finding other precious metals:

So I just threw in the towel and went buck wild for gold:

Gold:

And more gold:

I guess there is just no getting around it. While I do like some side platinum....

I <3 GOLD.
