Before the Gold hit the Crucible in this episode I took a snap or two of the Scrap Jewelry that went into the making of this Beautiful Bar...........
The weight of the Gold before it was melted was at 2334.0 Grams........................
Of Course once you watch the full video you will see that the finished Gold Bar weighs a little bit less do to impurities that are melted away in the pouring process............
In this photo you will see how the Borax bubbles UP as it is being used as a Flux to help Purify the Gold for the final product....................................
