Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 6/4/2019 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and changes for just over 2 years now.
I also want to mention just incase your wondering when perhaps something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do occasionally change it's format from time to time.
But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as it's important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 6/4/2019
Should you be trading with Steem today...?
Thank you and to everybody else who gave their support on getting us to dolphin we achieved this after 30 months, I'm sure once the price goes up higher it will be more beneficial to us all. Now then on March 10th we have seen Steem reach it's highest for the year at $0.55 along with SBD's which also had a breaker on March 13th with it's highest being $1.41. With Bitcoins around 4 days ago we had a upwave going from $4127 to $4885! And if you think that was good well it didn't stop there with them reaching $5000 now 3 days ago. The highest for Bitcoins which was also achieved 3 days ago was $5317! But we had another downwave recently taking them down to $4872 and right now Bitcoin's is fighting for $5000. For Steem we had been holding above $0.45 but we fell just under not long ago only briefly and began rising again, our ranking position is around #47 amongst all the other cryptos. As you know we beat the January high marking our highest at $0.55 which we are again close to beating. With the Bitcoins downwave it still come to a surprise for many how Steem was close to $0.45 again as the downwave was nowhere near the the Bitcoins $4000 mark. We started today at $0.51 which is nice compared to yesterday's $0.46 anyway we got to $0.52 quickly at ⏰00.20 and while this was looking good let me tell you already it was mostly I downwards day. And this was not from the initial downbump at ⏰01.10 taking Steem to $0.50. Nope because it recovery until at ⏰06.00 to ⏰07.25 Steem was at $0.53... so close to $0.55! Anyway it was from there that Steem started slowly going down reaching $0.50 again only about 2 hours ago. Anyway if nothing much will happen for Steem in 2019 which is slowly looking more doubtful then I hope those who are still in the game will take the opportunity to keep collecting because right now we are in a seriously good place to grow our accounts remember as the price goes up higher collecting actual Steem becomes more difficult. I also want to make it clear that I was apparently wrong in pulling the trigger too fast that we was out of survival mode, it seems according to Steem INC they still found themselves to be in survival mode but now we are officially crawling out. But longer in survival mode the conclusion from all this is to continue cutting of the costs of nodes. Hivemind is now live the "steemd" instance size's went from 488GB RAM to now shockingly 61GB RAM! Focus is on a multi index RocksDB adapter which is a new technology in development to allow the Steem blockchain nodes to store almost all of it's necessary data to a disk in a modern database instead of RAM, this move will make nodes cheaper. Ned also said that the cost reduction progress will still remain above the creation of SMT's which I feel is the right move. Did you know that after the wallet split from steemit.com is complete that both logged in and non-logged in users will see the adds on Steemit.com, I would rather not but understand this is part of keeping us out of survival mode if that was to happen again. It's also come to my attention people are still learning about the wallet split and feel this will continue to be a problem for a while so please have your keys backed-up, yes ALL of them and dont use your masterkey to log into Steemit.com, also when you click on your wallet yes you will be directed to a completely different website which should be "steemitwallet.com" please dont worry as this website is safe and part of Steemit.com. After your initial log-in you wont need to use your masterkey and so if you still don't understand how your private keys work or are relatively new to Steemit you can go to the Steemitblog account for a more recent official explanation. For SBD's they broke record March 13th reaching $1.41. Currently SBD's are at a "slightly higher" pegged rate, good to see SBD's managed to continued to stay above the normal for today. SBD's started today at $1.07, by ⏰00.40 it bumped to $1.09 just like Steem it was looking to be a great day. At ⏰01.50 it fell to $1.07 no biggie expected and took until ⏰05.25 for it to drop to $1.06 but from there it began recovery reaching $1.09 again at ⏰07.55 giving hope it would hold. Nope it didn't hold so it's slightly disappointing to see SBD's now around $1.04 and $1.05.
