Good day Steemian welcome to today's Steem price update for 12/3/2019 I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price's and changes for just over 2 years now.
I also want to mention just incase your wondering when perhaps something doesn't seem normal from the other regular Price update posts that the daily Steem price posts do occasionally change it's format from time to time.
But regardless of changes we will carry on as usual and by this I mean knowing the price of Steem as it's important for your daily plan or strategy and honestly even if you are not planing to do anything with your Steem I still recommend checking out these updates and keeping an eye on the price, so without further ado lets take a look at today's Daily Steem Price Change for 12/3/2019
Should you be trading with Steem today...?
Thank you, thank you guys for that extra support I just want to quickly mention that we are now only 60-SP away from reaching dolphin, any extra support on reaching our goal is appreciated. On March 10th, 2019 we saw Steem reach $0.55 which is the highest so far for the year and also on the same day SBD's hit it's highest at $1.02. With Bitcoins we just recently had a downwave going from $3914 to $3826 which was not affecting Steem by much and now today we already recovered with a upwave taking us from $3797 to $3867 and so we recovered what we lost fast. Ok as for Steem unless you haven't been paying attention you will know it's been going upwards lately we beat the January high and so reaching $0.48 which made it the highest new Steem price. But it didn't stop there Steem goes up higher still reaching $0.55 on the 10th making it the highest new Steem price for 2019. We are already in a good place, Steem as been seen around position #40 amongst all the other cryptos. As for steem today it started at $0.52 already on it's way falling down, it continued this till around ⏰01.20 which put Steem at $0.47. This fall was noticed and so went up to $0.48 only 10 minutes later. $0.48 was holding until ⏰04.15 then it fell to $0.47 and it stayed around there till ⏰06.05 giving the impression we would probably hit around the $0.50 mark. But it got there earlier then expected by ⏰09.15 and from there we had a noticeable peak at ⏰14.00 which put Steem at $0.53 it didn't last long and in the end we landed where we started at $0.52. Anyway if not too much happens in 2019 then I hope those who are still in the game will take the opportunity to keep collecting Steem. The good news is enough as happened for us to all breathe better as Steem is no longer in survival mode, we have made it out of that era! But still the conclusion from all this is to continue the cut of the costs of nodes. Hivemind is now live the "steemd" instance size's went from 488GB RAM to now shockingly 61GB RAM! Focus is on a multi index RocksDB adapter which is a new technology in development to allow the Steem blockchain nodes to store almost all of it's necessary data to a disk in a modern database instead of RAM, this move will make nodes cheaper. Ned also said that the cost reduction progress will still remain above the creation of SMT's which I feel is the right move. Steem is also now available for trading on the Huobi marketplace so if you are a U.S. resident just go to huobi.com, if you are anywhere else you could try Huobi global at hbg.com. Also if you still don't understand how your private keys work or are relatively new to Steemit you can go to the Steemitblog account for a more recent official explanation. For SBD's you may remember they also broke record March 10th reaching $1.02. Today SBD's are at a normal working rate, we started at the $1.00 mark which was nice to see, it then fell later and spent most of the morning between $0.98 and $0.97. At ⏰10.25 we reached $1.02 which as you know is our highest. As for the later part of the day SBD's where mostly at $0.99 and on the $1.00 mark. We also had a peak today sending SBD's to would you believe it $1.10. Now I was not sure whether to include this one as a record breaker, because it seems like it was probably someone just throwing their weight around but since it's not to overly drastic I will make a exception $1.10 is now the highest SBD value for the year.
