I've heard so much about the previous Steemfest meetings (mostly by my good friend @exyle) that I want to be present this time. For sure!
It is no question to me whether I want to be there but how I get there!
And by that, I mean the broadest sense of the word. How do I go there? By car, by bus, by train or by plane?
How am I going to pay it all? With your own money? With Steem Dollars?
Puzzle to be present
In the end, it is the finances that ensure that you have to play puzzles. I have just returned from vacation, I still have to go abroad for my work, my family still needs everything, and so on, and so on.
Life does not stand still. Myself, my wife and daughter have wishes and necessary expenses to do. It is not cheap at all. Clothing, the sports contribution of my daughter, school, mortgage, insurance, groceries.
We are already glad that we are so good and have nothing to complain about.
But something extra like Steemfest, which I want to go to, and preferably together with @missmau, makes sure that we have to creatively puzzle to go there.
In the end, the family can not suffer and fall short.
The prices are known
All prices are known. And since yesterday also the tickets for Steemfest itself. @roelandp/steemfest-updates-first-names-announced-ticketshop-open-let-s-fire-it-up
@roelandp has fortunately taken into account the different types of people who want to go there. Prices vary according to your Steemit status. If you are a minnow, you pay a fraction of the costs. Are you a Whale then you can pay more than the cost price to help the community to be present despite everything.
I think that is a very nice idea and thank @roelandp for this.
Unfortunately, the crypto market has collapsed. I will try to get enough money with my own money and by blogging to be able to pay all expenses for the trip. And preferably also to be there with @missmau.
Hopefully, we'll be on time. For now, I will focus on at least attending the conference. But if possible we definitely want to be there all days of Steemfest events.
