Video has a new home within the SPORTS ecosystem! You can now begin uploading or sharing links to your favorite sports video content on SportsTube!
SportsTube
Built from the new DTube 0.9, you will now be able to share sports videos and in the process earn rewards in the form of SPORTS tokens. This works from the same Steem Engine systems you've been using within SportsTalkSocial.com and SPORTS rewards will be paid from the same inflation pool.
How It Works
You can upload a video or drop a link from YouTube, by clicking 'Upload' from the sidebar off any page on http://video.sportstalksocial.com.
If you have a video file you'd like to upload drop it in the box. If you'd prefer to upload to another platform and still share on #sportstalk then drop the link in the search box and click the red button. You can share video from the following platforms:
YouTube
Twitch
Facebook
Instagram
LiveLeak
Vimeo
Dailymotion
Once you proceed to the next page you'll want to add your comments to the body and be sure to use the #sportstalk tag. Check that you like your post title and post thumbnail and you're ready to make your first #sportstalk video! Just hit 'Publish Video' and away we go!
Tag Notice
DTube only allows for 1 tag right now. For now you'll want to use the tag #sportstalk but will soon be able to edit your tags to better classify from your SportsTalkSocial.com profile. Work is being done to improve the tagging experience straight from SportsTube and more announcements will come in the future.
Bugs
This is fresh off the press. The DNS hasn't even fully propagated the network yet as this is being written so don't expect everything to be perfect from the start. That being said it has been tested to ensure a video successfully published and that voting worked. If you have any issues please let us know in the comments below otherwise we hope you enjoy the new addition to the SPORTS ecosystem!
