Out-of-Print Splinterlands Card Giveaway

Each week I host a giveaway for one of the original Reward Edition Splinterlands cards. Most of these cards have been out-of-print for almost two years, so new players can only get them in the market, and that can be pretty expensive. These giveaways are a way to help players build their deck for free.

As an added bonus, everyone who enters the giveaway receives a little upvote from me on their entry. So even if you don't win the prize, you will still get enough Hive to buy a Splinterlands card or two from the market. If you do buy a Splinterlands card with the Hive you receive, come back and let me know which card(s) you bought. Maybe it will inspire me to increase the size of the votes I'm handing out. Limit one entry per person.

This Week's Giveaway

One of the most important abilities in the lower League battles is Healing, so help you get longer, more fulfilling battles from your Earth Splinter tanks, this week's Blast From The Past Giveaway is the Wood Nymph!

That's right, this mischievous little woodland sprite could be yours if you're lucky enough to be picked by the WHEEL OF NAMES. I can't think of a card that can do more at level 1 to change the outcome of a battle than this one. Not only does it have the Tank Heal ability from the start, but if you level it up to 6, it will give your entire team a hit point boost with its Strengthen ability.

Currently, the cheapest Wood Nymph on the Splinterlands Marketplace is $1.38 for a level 1 card. This is just one more example of how valuable Splinterlands Reward cards can become after they are no longer minted.
