KV Mechelen vs Beerschot Wilrijk
The first encounter last week where Beerschot Wilrijk was the home team ended in a goalless 0-0 draw. The home team started that match very nervously but got into the match a bit after and even became the better team at the end of the first half. Mechelen saw their top striker De Camargo get injured (he also won't play today) and important defensive player from Beerschot Vandenberg got a second yellow in that match leaving the visitors with 10. (he will also be suspended today). There is a complicated situation right now with Mechelen being under investigation for math fraud last season and they might not be able to make the promotion even if they win today. I don't think it has that much influence on this match though. The 0-0 result last week makes an away goal count double. Mechelen aside from Striker De Camargo also misses left back Bijker because of the flu. I took a tiny pre-game bet on the underdogs in this match Beerschot Wilrijk +0.5 @ 2.030 this covers the 0-0 draw which would mean extra time. I'm also leaning toward the over since the match last week did not really have a scenario where both teams were scared to go forward and 1 goal should break this one wide open. If it is 0-0into the 2nd half the chances of it staying that way will increase a lot. I will likely wait it out live to get some more info on the match picture and likey take the over right after the first goal especially if the visitors score.
