The sea is rough today.
January can be extremely cold or pretty warm. This year i would say it is normal as the cold is bearable. Last night the wind was howling and surprisingly the morning was sunny and yes cold, but OK since the wind stopped blowing. I went to search for a present for a friend who is going to have her birthday next Friday. She invited us in one of the restaurants on the beach. I thought it might be good idea to see where the restaurant is, since I am anyway going downtown. And to make photos, of course.
The Sea Garden is not crowded like in summer time, beach is empty and only birds can be seen. In fact there were few people walking on the beach and a lonely surfer. Can you spot him?
Far in the distance the waves were very big and crushed on the pier.
When I turned to the left the sea looks much more bluish and calm.
The empty tables and chairs are still waiting for some customers. If the weekend is sunny and not so cold, there will be people sitting there, having coffee or tea.
Let's have a look what the sea has washed away.
I will finish with the sound of the sea. When recording there was no other noise, just the sea waves. I hope you will enjoy it.
