Day 333: 5 Minute Freewrite: Monday - Prompt: visit
These two prompts are such a coincidence and I would wanna write both. So I thought why not I make a 2 in 1 post from this...
In less than 3 days, the SteemFest ticket price is gonna increase!!! Yes... I know... And I have yet to book my ticket... I am getting nervous and really wanna get my ticket ASAP... But because I am not really flying there alone, and this is really my first time flying so far away from home... I wanna make sure I am flying together with @joannewong @aaronleang @bitrocker2020 and others who have yet to make up their mind.
My visit to Krakow, business or pleasure? Well, before seeing these two words from @anomadsoul, I never thought of this before. Travelling to Europe is one of my dreams, I came to know about SteemFest was the Lisbon SteemFest 2. Last year both @bitrocker2020 and @awesomianist were there... Last year I didn't have this urge that I should be there... But as time goes by, I become more and more attached and committed to various groups in Steemit, especially with Team Malaysia. Some of us become close friends and often have meetups and gatherings. I really wanna meet up with more friends from the other part of the world. @uwelang told me he is not going this time... But @detlev and @steevc are... Can't wait to meet up with this two awesome guys...
Also @travelgirl and @jrvacation are going too... So we will have our mini @ladiesofasia meetup there in Krakow... Then I met @sjennon early this year when she came visit Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. And this time I hope to meet her again in Krakow. There are many many more others I would love to meet up with too... I am not gonna name all of them because I know with my Dory's memory I will leave some names out and I don't wish this to happen... So yes, I really wanna meet up with all the Steemians I come across online in person in Krakow later this November.
So I guess this answer Eric's question "Is jumping on a plane to this Steem massive meet up your chance to meet all those people you spend countless hours a week conversating and fooling around in the different chat rooms?"... Yes! Totally a big YES...
Another of Eric's question "Is this trip your opportunity to go to a new country and explore its touristic spots and get to know the local culture?" Of coz it is a great opportunity! From the schedule shown in SteemFest official website, we will be exploring Krakow on the Saturday and Sunday!
Last but not least, well I guess besides a whale, all of us do really hope to meet a whale who can get us out of anonymity, right? Deep down inside, yes, I have this thought. Then again this won't be my main focus, but if it really happened, I really really really really really would be totally blessed and overjoy... And I hereby thank "YOU" in advance, whoever you are.
OK... I used at least four times 5 minutes here... So I will really have to stop here or else @mariannewest would start to ask "are you sure you are doing a 5 minutes freewrite."
