I am happy to discover this contest yesterday while i was randomly scrolling all the post. Well, thanks to me i did :)
So, when i saw this contest i was not sure whether to give it a try or leave it because photography is not my cup of tea and editing is a tough nut to crack for me. Then i thought why not give a try and let's see what comes next. The below are the results of going out of the box,
Created stars using GIMP 2.10 by adjusting the noise and adjusted the brightness contrast.
Same way, added the moon by selecting the brush tool, adjusted the size and on top of that added the hardness- cell effects.

Merge the previous stars/moons and the final look and my below is the entry photo to this contest.
Another one is below using the cartoon/softglow and oilify filters.

Well, the reason i choose this picture from my archives because i want to turn this day light photo into a night potrait.
I have no idea if i am near any where, Although i had a lot of fun tbh :D .
