This is my post for #freewrite Tuesday prompt iced coffee hosted by @mariannewest
In the morning when I wake the first thing that gets done is I put a cup of water in the microwave, then I go pee. I make a cup of hot coffee. I do not care for instant coffee but my husband quit drinking it years ago and now I do not want to make a pot of coffee for the 2 cups I drink. I drink one while waking up then on cold days I make another to drink on my way to the boat ramp. I love iced tea but not iced coffee I do not even like my coffee when it gets a little warm or cool. The cheap store had a case of protein drinks that is like coffee, they are called coffee house protein vanilla cappuccino. It tastes somewhat like coffee and I keep it on ice all day and drink it on my way back to the boat ramp. I think it would be considered iced coffee and I like it but would not want to put ice in it.
Today started off slow, I found fish at Long Point and caught 3 real fast, then nothing I guess they were traveling. Three hours later my husband texts me and said he had four at the inlet. I get to the inlet and they quit biting but I anchor anyway and catch nothing. I pulled all my rods in and wandered around and I skipped one. I anchored and sat there and caught 19 head of pompano bringing my total to 22. My husband ended up catching 27 head. We had a very good day 88 pounds.
These are my fish they are iced fish not iced coffee.
