“Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.” -Gustav Flaubert.
I have always loved travelling ever since I was a child. Exploring new places, meeting new people, learning about various cultures and religions and how everyone lives in harmony together is such an exciting thing.
The quote above explains it perfectly, I think. When we travel around, we find just how big the world is and how small of a place we occupy, which we always think of as our whole world.
Some years ago, I had the pleasure of taking a trip to the southern part of India, to a state known as 'god's own country' which is called Kerala. As you can imagine, by that tagline, it's a very beautiful place with amazingly beautiful nature, rich culture and outstanding cuisine.
Today, I want to share just some of the photos that I had clicked during my trip there. I hope you all like them. :)

Kerala is home to amazing beaches and wonderful views of the Arabian sea.

Watching boats and ships sail on the sea is an experience on its own.

Not only beaches, Kerala also has many hill stations for one's delight.

Wouldn't you just want to relax in a place like this?

Clicking this photo, it was clear to me why Kerala's tag line is what it is.

I also came across some animals on my trip. Here's one that I really love. The elephant.

We stayed at a resort which had this awesome pool, overlooking the sea.

Everything looked and sounded so beautiful, even in night time.

Here we are enjoying a bonfire in the coolness of the night.

Here's a picture of me taking in all the wonderful nature surrounding me.

A panoramic photo of the resort we stayed in. Suffice it to say, it was a great pleasure. :)
