Unfortunately, I don't live in a space with that kind of curvature on the hills, it's an artefact of panoramic photography.
But that's my town or at least the north-western bit of it. I graduated from that university in that cathedral on the hill opposite. It feels like home again now, although I've only lived here for a total of five out of my fifty-four years.
We're sticking around and I took some steps today to get more involved in local community. It's weirdly difficult, opening up, being prepared to talk to strangers and work towards making them friends. But that's my job really, it's just always tricky getting going again.
