I was never a huge fan of mafia games back in the old Facebook days. I remember playing one for some time, but I got tired quickly. @drugwars is different in some ways but very similar in others. It is almost impossible to advance without investing at least some STEEM, believe me, I tried... But the good thing is that part of that STEEM can be "recuperated" or "won" because of the daily payments that the game is making. I put these words in quotes because after all this is a game, we are not investors and we should not expect a Return Over out Investment.
If you have followed the game for a while you must have noticed that the daily payments are decreasing each day. I started receiving more than 1 STEEM and now I am only receiving about 0.26 STEEM. This is normal because a lot of people have stopped "investing" STEEM and are waiting for their "winnings" to arrive. I heard that inactive accounts will stop receiving rewards and maybe this will increase the daily payments to all the active ones.
On the other hand, I hate the combat mechanics or system of this game. I always get attacked and my army is wipedout very quickly, I've lost a lot of resources and now that there is no shield I get picked more often. I guess I need to be logged into the game more time and spend/invest my resource wisely. I'm not sure if I'm going to spend more time on this game, I haven't been able to successfully attack someone or defend myself. I guess I will wait for more updates and improvements, I hope they are able to keep the game going. So far the UI and general design of the game has improved a lot, I like it.
If you haven't played the game (and I highly doubt it) you can use my referral link: https://drugwars.io/i/livingamestudios
I'm also excited about future STEEM games if a game like this was so successful there are a lot of possibilities for RPG games.
