¿why smile?

  1. Endorphins are released: (Products produced by our body to make us feel better)
A smile makes us look good, but it also makes us feel good. When smiling, the body releases endorphins and serotonins into the bloodstream, thus reducing pain and improving the immune system and, therefore, our defenses.

  2. It makes us pleasant: The smile is a universal gesture and has a great power of communication. Without a doubt, it is the best way to start a relationship with new people: it shows you as someone nice and open to a good conversation.

  3. It is a great exercise: it is one of the most effective and easy to do physical exercises. A smile puts in motion about 400 muscles, including some of the stomach. Studies reveal that twenty seconds of laughter are equivalent to three minutes of constant physical exercise. In addition, laughter reduces blood cholesterol.

  4. Increase confidence: A cheerful person is constantly seen as a safer person with high self-esteem, according to experts. In the social sphere, laughter is a powerful formula in the face of fear of ridicule and shyness.

5. Good for the skin: When smiling, more air enters the lungs which improves the oxygenation of the blood and, therefore, the health of the skin, making it look smoother and younger.

  1. Balances the mood: Smile helps start the day in the best way, it helps to balance the mood and improves your willingness to perform various activities.

  2. Improves digestion: By laughing, our diaphragm causes an internal massage that facilitates digestion and helps reduce fatty acids and other substances in the body, which helps the health of the intestines. It is said that laughter helps reduce constipation.

  3. Makes you live longer: People with good humor usually live many more years and, in fact, are happier. A study published in 2010 in the journal Psychological Science revealed that the smile lengthens life. According to this study, people who do not smile live an average of 75 years, while those who smile fully live an average of 79 to 80 years.
