Bringing visibility to DTube
By taking a look at OBS download statistics, we can see that for their latest release, they averaged 3 millions downloads per month. And they told me that was a small release!
Starting with release 22 of OBS (RC2 included), the DTube entry will be visible to all new downloads and will be telling other broadcaster that DTube is now a Livestreaming option. Live broadcasting is a very active part of a growing entertainment and education movement on the internet.
New Features
This is the code change in its entirety. It is not complicated or big, but its impact will be huge.
The new entry will show up in the service drop down list along Youtube, Twitch, Facebook and others.
At this point the DTube team did not recommend any max video or audio bitrate, so this is it.
