LICKEY HILL SUNDAY WALK & CASTLE

This post is some images taken from my walk on this day with the partner and the dogs we went to Lickey Hills Country Park.
Lickey Hills Country Park is one of Birmingham's most varied and treasured parks. It covers 524 acres and is located just 10 miles south west of Birmingham. A favorite area for hikers and mountain bikers, this 524-acre park consists of many trees, marshes and trees including a wide variety of wildlife.
Beacon Hill is the most famous viewpoint at the Lickey Hills. The hill gives expansive views of the surrounding countryside. There’s an orientation table in a small fort on the top of the hill which points out the direction to notable landscape features you can see from Beacon Hill. On a clear day, you can have fun trying to see 13 old counties that are marked on the table.
