Yesterday I somewhat scoffed at the meager amount of snow we got here in Eugene, OR, but last night we had a legitimate dusting. I still went out for my morning walk on the riverbank path near the big parks by the river (once again I woke up earlier than I would like and took my morning walk a bit earlier than usual). I’m a bit paranoid about walking in slippery conditions because I slipped and broke my arm on some ice a few years ago, but there wasn’t any ice layer from freezing rain, just a thin crunchy layer of snow when I set out, and it was mostly melted from the roads and sidewalks by the time I got back.

In Pokémon Go there’s a new Lunar New Year event celebrating the year of the pig with shiny Spoinks in the game now, so I was hunting for them most of the morning. I didn’t see any, but I did encounter a shiny Tailow which was added during the previous event!
