Let's love and respect the sea!
I'm back, here is the sea.
Have you ever ridden a surfboard?
I tried several times, especially when I lived in Fuerteventura, in the Canary Islands.
A completely different feeling from sailing on a sailboat.
You are freer, a freedom free from the comfort of sitting or using only your hands to choose the direction.
With surf, use your feet, your arms, your belly, and the knees, even the soul.
Take slaps in the face, or blows behind your back from the waves, which remind you that you must respect the sea, and they renew and stimulate your body and mind.
You feel closer to the sea and the wind, you get in touch with them, and you have stronger stimuli.
You are a part of them.
A living experience without mediation, you and your feet, under the table and the waves, with their strength and mass in movement.
It is great to be able to ride tons of water, on a board weighing a few kg, you use the skill and technique to overcome the power of nature.
Logically, I'm just a beginner, but I love taking a blast from the sea.
I leave you with a cult film of history, which I never tire of watching.
I think back to poor Patrick Swayze, who died at the age of 57 at the same age as his father, and to his desire to be cremated and the ashes scattered on his ranch.
My will will be the same, but my ashes I want to be scattered in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the island of Ponza, where the strong currents will transport them to the southern Aegean, to Ios seeking a contact with Him, Homer.

The white of the foam you see is not a watercolor color, but the natural color of the paper.
White is not used with watercolor.
Beware of imitations!
tutto il bianco della schiuma che vedete, non è colore ad acquarello, ma il colore naturale della carta.
Con l'acquarello il bianco non si usa.
Diffidate dalle imitazioni!
Sono tornato, ecco il mare.
Avete mai cavalcato una tavola da surf?
Ho provato diverse volte, soprattutto quando vivevo a Fuerteventura, nelle isole Canarie.
Una sensazione completamente differente dal navigare in barca a vela.
Sei più libero, una libertà svincolata dalla comodità del sedersi o di usare solo le mani per scegliere la direzione.
Con il surf usi i piedi, le braccia, la pancia, e i piegamenti sulle ginocchia, anche l'anima.
Prendi schiaffi in faccia, o botte dietro la schiena dalle onde, che ti ricordano che devi avere rispetto del mare, e ti rinnovano e stimolano il corpo e la mente.
Ti senti più vicino al mare e al vento, entri in contatto con loro, e hai stimoli più forti.
Sei una parte di essi.
Un'esperienza viva e senza mediazioni, tu e i tuoi piedi, sotto la tavola e le onde, con la loro forza e massa in movimento.
E' bellissimo poter cavalcare masse di tonnellate d'acqua, su una tavola di pochi kg di peso, usi l'abilità e la tecnica per vincere la potenza della natura.
Logicamente io sono solo un principiante, ma amo prendere botte dal mare.
Vi lascio con un film cult della storia, che non mi stanco mai di guardare.
Ripenso al povero Patrick Swayze, morto a 57 anni alla stessa età del padre, e alla sua volontà di essere cremato e le ceneri sparse nel suo ranch.
La mia volontà sarà la stessa, ma le mie ceneri voglio che siano sparse nel mar Tirreno, al largo dell'isola di Ponza, dove le forti correnti le trasporteranno fino nell'Egeo meridionale, a Ios cercando un contatto con Lui, Omero.
Un abbraccio dal punto di rottura.
