Hi ADSactly readers! It's Thursday, which means for most, that the week is coming to an end. It also means that we can start looking forward to our weekly chat show "Fridays with ADSactly", hosted by @broncofan99 and @princessmewmew
What Topics Will Be Covered?
We try to keep the conversation focused on Steemit related topics. This means we will chat about anything from new tools available to Steemians, to markdown tips, to popular Steemians to follow.
What Did We Speak About in Last Fridays With ADSactly?
We had quite an interesting conversation, discussing a few different platforms such as Tasteem, Scorum and Minds.
Have you heard of any of these platforms?
@tasteem is a front end for the Steem blockchain focusing on restaurants and eating out. They have weekly challenges where you can post Your Weekly Choice (any restaurant article) and then they also have weekly unique contests. For example, this week's contest is Bakeries and Patisseries.
They have a lovely community there, and also give some really nice upvotes for using their front end.
There are some nice features available, such as being able to bookmark your favourite posts, and vote for your favourite post via Tasteem.
You do need to sign up for the white paper though, but once you are in, you're in!
Minds is a new social media platform, dubbed "the Facebook Blockchain Alternative" using crypto to reward their users. It has a few posting methods, mainly shortform photo and video uploads, and also longer format posts, where you can write a full blog post.
One of the best things about Minds is that it doesn't track your data, like Facebook.
You can earn in the Minds token, by simply posting a photo, or liking or disliking a post. Currently Minds is still running on the Rinkey test net (an ethereum test net), so it is not yet listed on an exchange, or carry value.
Now is definitely the time to get involved, as an early adapter.
A sports based social media block chain based platform with it's own ICO.
Scorum rewards its users for creating content and for curating content, much like Steemit.
It also has a large database of photos and analytics on hand for it's writers. Now that is pretty cool.
What of the most interesting features is a commission-free betting on fantasy sports - a great interactive feature on the site.
Again, like Minds.com, now is THE time to join.

How We Gave Back Last Friday
Our wonderful community got to hear about @mumma-monza and @phillipekiene's experiences on all of the discussed platforms, and they definitely gained some new followers.
ADSactly also runs a daily curation project called the ADSactly Post of the Day, and all who were present had a hand in choosing the POTD for that day. That was really a fun aspect to our hang out, and gave more exposure to what we do with our curation project.

@broncofan99 is one of our Community Overseers in ADSactly, and super involved with our Post of The Day project. He is known for his kind and helpful spirit, and is a huge sports lover. Recently he has been making some amazing DTube videos, so feel free to ask about that in the chat!
@princessmewmew (me!) is passionate about food and design. My main love on Steemit is manual curation, supporting minnows and sharing the knowledge I have gained over the past year with every one who is keen to learn!
So, between the two of us, we will definitely have something to chat about.
