Some art around NYC

This post will cover two challenges Beautiful Sunday By @ace108, and Sublime Sunday, created by @c0ff33a,

Beautiful because I love when a city welcomes color and art all around to brighten up the city and make it less of a concrete Jungle and sublime well because art is a matter of opinion what one person loves another may not and secondly because I had fun with the edits on a couple of these shots

Starting with this colorful piece I came across one day, perhaps simply in design but I found it quite eye-catching and pleasing

Now this second shot is a bit of art in Strawberry Fields within Central Park

In April 1981, after John Lennon was murdered, a patch of land in Central Park near the Dakota was named "Strawberry Fields" in Lennon's honor. Later that year it was announced that the Strawberry fields area would be completly renovated.
Yoko Ono requested that the rebuilt memorial be a "living memorial" rather than a statue, and Strawberry Fields was dedicated on what would have been Lennon's 45th birthday, October 9, 1985

This is one of the few times I have visited the park and the Imagine Mosaic was not covered with flowers

Now the previous shot had a touch of artistic editing, but this next piece I perhaps got a little carried away with the artistic editing

Now not all the art in NYC is fixed, some of the delivery trucks can be quite colorful such as this one

And another shot where I felt a bit of selective coloring was needed to bring the focus on the art and not the surroundings, this piece is in Times Square
