The western coast of Tenerife is very often covered with clouds, so in the mountains of the Teide National Park you almost always see a phenomenon called the sea of clouds.

The height of the volcano of Teide – 3718 meters. Roads and observation platforms in the Teide National Park are located at altitudes from one to two kilometers.
The approximate height of the cloud layer is usually about a kilometer.
