A Dragon's Tale
Calling all dragons, your fire is
required. Wake you from your caves of sleep and soar with wings in flight.
Beat them in the air until a tempest you unleash. Reign upon your kingdoms with fury born of peace.
Vanquish all your enemies; send them fire and rain. Your wings will cover distances the fearful cannot meet.
Hap you to a land of quiet, rest and catch your breath. The smaller of your enemies are hiding in their nests. Hide you not your eyes from the angry menace lying coiled among the treetops to swoop down on our lives.
Your tongue is dipped in molten fire. Your hue is dangerous greens. Your claws will carry prisoners from lairs both far and wide. Fanciful your nightmares are drifting in our dreams.
We bury in our fairy tales your wildest curtained dreams.
