Hello dear Steemians,
Today I would like to present you my watercolor painting that actually was the most difficult among my watercolor works. Recently while reading the posts about the historical heritage of Korean culture that is presented by @slowwalker I was really keen to do a painting with one of these beautiful constructions.
I decided to choose one Pillar Gate of Cheoneun-sa Temple, I like that wonderful roof and also the autumn scene that was captured on photograph and I used it as a reference. As you know painting is not a copy of a photo and in our paintings we have to decide what is the main object and we should not overwhelm the painting.
It took me a while and every time I was not sure if I would be able to bring my painting to the end but as I mentioned before I am not a person who gives up easily. So this is the result and I hope you also like it like myself.
