Hi dear Steemians.
A wonderful promontory, source of inspiration for many watercolor painters.
Ischia is a wonderful island, in a Gulf of Naples and that promontory is called Sant'Angelo.

Un promontorio meraviglioso, fonte di ispirazione di molti pittori acquarellisti.
Si trova ad Ischia un'isola meravigliosa nel Golfo di Napoli, e quel promontorio si chiama Sant'Angelo.
I want to celebrate this beginning of the northern spring with a watercolor triptych, that is three pictorial representations in a single panel.
This work is in my studio in Terracina, and I'm very attached to it, you can imagine why.
I painted it from the truth, 10 springs ago, when, with my ex-wife our two children, we chose to spend a vacation, on a sailing boat, in Ischia.
Questo inizio di primavera boreale lo voglio festeggiare con un trittico ad acquarello, cioè tre rappresentazioni pittoriche in un unico pannello.
Questo lavoro si trova nel mio studio a Terracina, e sono molto legato ad esso, potete immaginare perchè.
Lo dipinsi dal vero, 10 primavere fa, quando, con la mia ex-moglie i nostri due figli, scegliemmo di passare una vacanza, in barca a vela, proprio a Ischia.
Then everything went wrong, and I found myself alone, because my ex -wife chose another path.
Things that happen.
Poi tutto è andato storto, e mi sono ritrovato da solo, perchè lei ha scelto un'altra strada.
Cose che capitano.
But the beautiful memories of that 5-day trip warm my heart.
I can't forget the days in the sun and bathe in the most beautiful coves of the island, playing with my boys.
Surfing with my children, joking and experiencing unforgettable moments.
Ma i bellissimi ricordi di quella gita di 5 giorni mi scaldano il cuore.
Non posso dimenticare le giornate al sole e fare bagni nelle calette più belle dell'isola, giocando con i miei ragazzi.
Navigare con i miei figli, scherzando e vivendo momenti indimenticabili.
Now the memory has resurfaced, strong and intense, and my heart opens up, drawing on those images and sensations fixed in my soul.
Adesso il ricordo è riaffiorato, forte e intenso, e mi si apre il cuore che attinge a quelle immagini e sensazioni fissate nella mia anima.
It is spring, as it always is, in every part of the globe, but let us hope to live it serenely, free from ecological damnations, environmental disasters and storms of the soul.
E' primavera, come lo è sempre, in ogni parte del globo terrestre, ma auguriamoci di viverla serenamente, libera da dannazioni ecologiche, disastri ambientali e tempeste dell'anima.
My wish is to find peace and serenity, let's always fight to have the best spring possible for the planet and for our life.
Because it can always be spring.
